Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that true beauty shines brightest when it is accompanied by compassion, empathy, and a commitment to giving back. At Creme de la Creme, we are not just a showcase of beauty and talent, but a platform for fostering meaningful connections and making a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide a transformative experience for our young ladies, equipping them with the tools, confidence, and leadership skills necessary to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. Through a platform that empowers our contestants to become advocates for causes close to their hearts. By leveraging their influence and visibility, we believe they can bring attention to important social issues and inspire change. Our ultimate goal is to empower our young ladies to embrace their crowns with pride, positively influence others, and leave a lasting legacy of excellence and service.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Contestants must be between the ages of 13-16 as of May 11, 2024.
  • Provide a copy of your birth certificate and two photos: One full body and one headshot.
  • Must be of Caribbean descent.
  • Must be born a female.

  • Must not have a child/children.
  • Must not be married or have been married.
  • Must be in good health and can participate fully and without limitations in any program activities.

Application and Entry:

  • All applications must be submitted by December 15, 2023

  • Applicants must provide accurate and complete personal information.

  • A non-refundable application fee of $95.00 is required upon submission of application

Code of Conduct:

  • Contestants are expected to conduct themselves with respect, sportsmanship, and professionalism throughout the pageant process.
  • Any form of derogatory language, discrimination, or harassment towards fellow contestants, organizers, or staff will not be tolerated.
  • Any falsification of contestants status will result in disqualification without benefit of refund and any and all prizes received must be forfeited.
  • Contestants are required to strictly adhere to the Beauty Pageant rules and regulations. And if any of these rules are broken by the contestants, the contestants understands that participation disqualification and title revocation will be the resulting resolution to the matter.
  • Contestant must conduct themselves in a proper lady-like manner and show high moral standards.

** Should there be any problem of any kind during the pageant or related events; the contestant is to go to one of the directors or committee members. Any unruly, unsportsmanlike or unbecoming conduct by a Contestants or any member of her entourage, or any disregard for the rules and regulations of this pageant can and will result in immediate dismissal from further competition without refund.

Rehearsals/Activities:

  • A Chaperone/Pageant Coach will be required to accompany and escort the contestants to rehearsals, training events and “ALL” pageant activities.

  • Photoshoot: A date to TBA

  • All contestants MUST attend ALL pageant rehearsals ON TIME.

  • All pageant rehearsals will be closed to anyone not participating in the pageant.

  • Contestants are required to attend ALL activities and arrive at SCHEDULED times.

  •  No one will be allowed backstage on the date of the pageant other than pageant officials, contestants, and their chaperones that will assist the contestants with preparations.

Hair and Makeup:

  • Crème de La Crème Talent Unlimited, LLC will provide Make-Up and Hair Artist in the dressing area the day of the pageant.

  • Contestant can have their hair and make-up prep by their own stylist before the show and the Hair and Makeup Stylist that will be provided will just do the finishing touches.

Media and Publicity:

  • Contestants grant Crème de la Crème Talent Unlimited, LLC the right to use their name, likeness, photographs, and videos for promotional purposes.

  • Interviews and media interactions should be respectful and in alignment with the values of the pageant.

Rights and Responsibilities:

  • Crème de La Crème reserves the right to add, change or delete any rules and regulations at any time without giving notice.

  • Crème de La Crème reserves the right to change the date and location of the pageant.

  • Contestants and their Chaperones agree to hold harmless all persons affiliated with the Miss ESsence of the Caribbean Pageant in case of any loss or injury occurring during the entire pageant and preparation for the pageant.

Judging and Scoring:

  • Judging criteria will include but are not limited to: poise, confidence, talent, community involvement, and interview skills.

** “JUDGES’ DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND WILL NOT BE SUBJECT TO APPEAL.”

Areas of Competition

  • Each Contestant is required to participate in a Personal Interview Opening Number {Presentation), Resort Wear, Project Runway Wear, Red carpet Gala Wear, Talent and Question And Answer.
  • Contestants are responsible for their Personal Interview Outfit, Resort Wear , Project Runway Wear, Evening Wear, Talent Attire and Props if needed.

Personal Interview:

The personal interview competition is the Contestant best opportunity to allow the judges to get to know them personally and intimately. Each Contestant will be interviewed individually, and will have to answer questions based on their platforms. They will have the opportunity to talk about themselves, current events, and social issues. as well. Judges will be looking for articulate, well spoken and confident ladies. Judges will assign a score based on the Contestant overall First Impression, Communication Skills, Personality, Personal Appearance, Poise, Charm, Self Confidence and her ability to Articulate her answers. The Personal interview competition is worth 75 Points of the Contestants total score. Which will be added to the total score of the onstage Impromptu Question & Answer Segment.

Presentation:

Each Contestant will introduce herself at the beginning of the pageant. This introduction serves as an opportunity to showcase her personality, and make a positive first impression on the judges and the audience.

The presentation will focus on Poise, Diction & Voice Clarity, Content of self and Facial and Body Expressions. ( Time Limit 2 mins)

Resort Wear:

Each Contestant will create a resort wear look using elements & National flower and/or National bird. Swimwear must be included. The Resort Wear Competition will focus on Poise, Confidence, Fashion and Appropriateness of Dress. Contestants should strive to strike a balance between showcasing their creativity and fashion sense while respecting the cultural significance of their National flower, and/or National bird. The resort wear segment provides an opportunity to celebrate national pride and individual style in a unique and captivating manner. Contestants must provide the music for this segment one week before the show. (Time Limit 3 mins)

Project Runway Wear:

Each Contestant will create an outfit using unconventional Materials. Utilizing less than 30% of any actual fabric. Fabric should be used as a base and not a main part of your outfit. Fabric should not be noticeable. The Project Runway Wear will focus on Creativity, Concept Presentation, Clothing Coordination, Fashion Technique and Poise. Contestants must provide the music for this segment one week before the show. (Time Limit 3 mins)

Examples of unconventional Materials: Trash bags, balloons, straws, bottle caps, cans, paper products etc, etc.

Talent:

Talent may consist of Singing, Dancing, Poetry, Playing an Instrument Acting in a Skit, etc. Contestants will be asked about their talent by the pageant host. No instruments will be provided. This category is judged on Execution, Skill, Technical Skill Level, Confidence, On Stage Personality, Interpretation of the Selection, Originality, Creactivity, Effectiveness of Opening and Finale and Total Impact of the Performance. Props are allowed. Talent acts must not exceed 5 minutes. NO fire acts will be allowed. If music is needed for performance Contestants must provide the music for this segment one week before the show. (Time limit 5 Mins)

Red Carpet Gala Wear:

Elegance and Sophistication: Red carpet gowns are known for their sophisticated and elegant designs. They often feature intricate details, intricate embellishments, and high-quality fabrics that exude luxury and style. This competition is designed for the Contestants to make an on-stage statement of her Red Carpet Gala Wear, compelling charm, presence and personality. Gowns should be floor length, the color should contrast and compliment with your skin tone. Attention is focused on each Contestant Overall First Impressions, Self-Confidence, Poise, Sense of Style, Modeling of gown in terms of technique, elegance and the beauty she brings to the gown of her choice. A gown that compliments her figure and is age appropriate is very important. Contestants must provide the music for this segment one week before the show. (Time Limit 4 Mins)

On-Stage Question:

Questions will be asked aloud and each Contestants will have two minutes to answer. Contestants must be able to express herself clearly, diplomatically and must project personality at all times. The Contestants must be able to state her opinion in a positive, decisive manner. Attention is focused on articulation, quality of response, ability to think on her feet, charisma, confidence and personality. (Time Limit 2 mins)
